Synopsis

If the first volume of this story was told almost entirely from the animals' point of view, this one is from the humans' perspective. However, by the end of the book, one wonders what the exact meaning of the word "animal" truly is.

Isaak Friedl and Yi Yang have created a deep and disturbing story, with a seemingly naive structure, narrated and drawn in an exemplary manner, that explores the nature of blood ties and the meaning of loyalty.
